Sekolah Luar Biasa adalah lembaga pendidikan yang merupakan bagian terpadu berasal dari sistem pendidikan nasional yang secara spesifik diadakan bagi peserta didik yang miliki tingkat kesusahan di dalam mengikuti sistem pembelajaran karena terdapatnya keterbatasan fisik atau mental, agar mereka dapat menggali dan mengembangkan potensi kecerdasan dan bakatnya. SLB punya tujuan untuk memberi tambahan sarana pendidikan yang sesuai bersama keperluan dan potensi tiap-tiap peserta didik, agar mereka dapat mengembangkan diri secara optimal dan mandiri.

SLB A

SLB A adalah jenis sekolah yang diperuntukkan bagi anak tunanetra atau anak yang miliki halangan di dalam indra penglihatan. Strategi pembelajaran yang diberikan di sekolah ini perlu dapat mendorong mereka paham materi yang diberikan oleh para guru.

Di SLB A, biasanya guru manfaatkan sarana pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk anak-anak bersama problem penglihatan, contohnya layaknya buku Braille serta tape recorder.

SLB B

Sekolah Luar Biasa atau SLB B diperuntukkan bagi anak yang miliki halangan di dalam indra pendengaran atau yang disebut terhitung bersama tunarungu.

Media pembelajaran yang diberikan di sekolah ini yakni membaca ujaran lewat gerakan bibir atau metode oralism. Selain itu, siswa di SLB B biasanya ditambah bersama alat bantu pendengaran, layaknya contohnya implan koklea.

SLB C

SLB C diperuntukkan bagi anak-anak yang dikategorikan sebagai individu bersama tingkat intelegensi di bawah rata-rata, atau yang dikenal bersama instilah tunagrahita. Siswa tunagrahita biasanya tidak miliki kapabilitas sosial yang baik dan condong menarik diri berasal dari lingkungan dan pergaulan.

SLB D

SLB D adalah jenis sekolah yang untuk mereka yang miliki disabilitas fisik atau kekurangan di dalam bagian tubuh mereka. Dalam Bahasa Indonesia, mereka dikategorikan sebagai tunadaksa.

Pendidikan di SLB D punya tujuan mengembangkan potensi diri siswa tunadaksa agar mereka dapat hidup mandiri bersama keterbatasan fisik yang mereka miliki.

SLB E

SLB E bertujuan untuk anak-anak tunalaras, yakni mereka yang mengalami ketidaksesuaian bersama lingkungan sekitar. Mereka sering kesusahan di dalam mengendalikan emosi dan berinteraksi bersama orang lain.

Anak tunalaras menghadapi masalah di dalam faktor emosional dan sosial atau keduanya di dalam perkembangan mereka. Oleh karena itu, di SLB E, mereka dapat diberikan pendidikan dan sarana spesifik yang dapat menolong mereka sesuaikan emosi dan menjalin interaksi sosial.

SLB G

SLB G merupakan keliru satu jenis Sekolah Luar Biasa yang bertujuan untuk tunaganda, yakni mereka yang mengidap lebih berasal dari satu kelainan. Mereka biasanya sukar untuk berkomunikasi, atau apalagi serupa sekali tidak berkomunikasi.

Anak tunaganda miliki keterlambatan di dalam faktor motorik mereka. Karena itu, mereka butuh sarana pembelajaran yang sesuai bersama keperluan mereka agar dapat menambah kemandirian mereka.
